Kerry Kelly Novick: Well, I was born in Los Angeles at the time my father was making his first film in Hollywood. He had been in Pal Joey on Broadway in 1941 and was signed to a contract at MGM and went to California to be in For Me and My Gal with Judy Garland, and that’s when I was born.
